Our History
Established in 1851 on the historic Bread Street in Edinburgh, Duncan McLaren is the oldest locksmiths business in Scotland. Duncan McLaren Locksmiths has been a family run business for over 160 years. We have some of the best locksmiths in the business. Our team have a combined experience of nearly 90 years and are happy to help with any enquiry.

We can cut a range of keys from yale to mortice. We can cut your keys while you wait, depending on availability.

We can also repair damaged locks and repair them to full working order. We can restore and cut keys to antique locks from the Victorian era.
SAFE INSTALLATION & OPENING
